Flexible Printed Circuits - Printed Electronics

Alper`s Printed Electronics is made by screen-printing technique, a PET sheet is printed with conductive silver ink tracks.

Alper flexible printed circuits adapt to any surface without risking interrupting signal transmission.

The polyester (PET) sheet is the perfect flexible substrate, it can be flexed without the danger of damaging the silver circuit printed on top.

Alper manufactures automotive antennas, sensors and capacitive circuits.

In particular, with IoT (Internet of Things) technology, Alper circuits become the best tool for a smart connection to the exchange of information and data processing between devices.

Alper applies screen-printing to Printed Electronics. Circuits, sensors, and antennas are created using printing techniques, and screen printing is the methods employed to deposit tracks made by mixture of silver and other components. Subsequently, these flexible circuits are protected by insulating layers capable of ensuring high dielectric strengths, over 3750 V. Each flexible PTF (Polymer Thin Film) can be made adhesive on one or both sides and equipped with any type of cable and connector.

Printed Flexible Circuits are remarkably thin (min. thickness 0.2 mm), can flex and bend without the risk of breaking or damaging the printed circuitry. Screen-printed flexible circuits are perfect to be implemented in numerous applications.

Thanks to these characteristics, Printed Electronics of circuits, sensors, and antennas is used in small spaces where a signal is needed, even in current. The flexible PET foil-based substrate makes the circuit suitable for the following uses: capacitive sensors, automotive antennas, burglary protection circuits and many others. Thanks to the resistant characteristics of the PET substrate used, Alper flexible printed circuits are also used as liquid leak detectors in the industrial sector but also in the household appliances sector. If placed under a washing machine or dishwasher, they can detect the presence of water from the first drop with extreme sensitivity, thus becoming powerful control tools.
