What are Alper's proposals for heating?

Alper is specialized in the production of high-quality heaters, offers three different types of resistances depending on the ink with which they are printed and the application. Alper's heating proposals consist of heating elements printed by screen printing on a PET support that differ in the heating ink that is used. The conductive inks used by Alper are: carbon ink, silver ink and High PTC carbon ink with "self-limiting" effect.

What are the characteristics of PET and carbon heating elements?

These heating elements are greatly recognized for their high energy efficiency, thanks to the fact that the heat produced is immediately and totally transferred to the surface where they are applied. A margin of modification to the design of the ohmic values of +/- 20% during production is possible without the need to modify the equipment predisposed. Alper's carbon heaters are able to maintain constant temperatures over a long period of time.

What are the main features of PTC flexible carbon ink resistances?

The second type of resistances uses a carbon ink with a high PTC effect. The main feature of the PTC effect is to “self-regulatewithout the need for additional temperature control mechanisms. As the temperature of the heater increases, its resistivity increases, avoiding overheating, prolonging the life of the resistances and keeping the system safer and more protected. Thanks to this technology, Alper PTC heating elements do not need bulky and expensive control accessories. PTC carbon printed Alper resistances are suitable for use in applications that come into contact with human skin because they are safe thanks to the "self-limiting" effect. Alper is the promoter at European level of this innovative technology still little known but with great potential and varieties of application in transversal sectors. How do flexible silver ink resistances work?

The third type of heating elements uses a silver ink. These resistances are remarkable for their high thermal conductivity and their ability to reach temperatures in a relatively short time. The minimum thickness reaches 0.2 mm, this peculiarity allows the resistance to be inserted in the narrowest spaces and to maintain a curved position adhering to the application surface. The use of silver ink is preferred to carbon when the need is to create heating tracks with a particular layout. In this way, Alper is able to satisfy even the most particular and complicated requirements in terms of construction.
