Alper ultra flat PET foil heaters are the result of a particular silk print process that permits to obtain very thin flexible heating elements (from 0.15mm).
These heaters are applied where a heating from ambient temperature to about 90° is requested over a surface with minimum thickness and with highly homogeneous heat distribution.
The main applications span from household appliances, little animals, real estate sector, industry, automotive… and many others.
PET flexible film heaters are made by printing of a special silver paste as conductor and a carbon paste that is responsible of the heating effect, very similar to etched foil heater but much more reliable in terms of flexibility.
The continuous research of new carbon mixtures allows Alper to grant a very flexible production capability and to satisfy any customer needs.
The technology that is on the basis of such heaters, unique in this field, consents to reduce costs of set up and costs of amendment (about +/- 20% in power) of new projects just with accurate changes of the carbon paste mixture (not feasible with etched foil technology).
This technology gives flexible heaters with very high ohmic values, target very difficult to be reached by alternative production processes with films or cables.
The conductive and resistive mixtures adopted by Alper are perfect to assure the highest values of flexibility also during operation.
It means that these heaters can work being flexed in the same time. Upon request Alper can supply a great variety of accessories such as temperature limiters, probes, sensors, sensor pockets,…
The production process of Alper PET heating foils is completely ecological being it an additive process: therefore there are no waste polluted substances, that could be harmful for nature and humans, released to the ambient.
